Fall/Winter 2006...Bold New Shapes
This fall is
shaping up to be the most radical fashion season
in a long time. Designers are constructing convention – be
darned clothes in new innovative shapes with
an unorthodox sense of volume and silhouette.
None of this bodes well for the classic dresser;
yet, thankfully, classic clothes will still be
available and can be tweaked with new pieces
ever so slightly to stay current, season after
season. To read Joanie Jackson's complete newsletter,

The Elements of a Basic Wardrobe
—You Need These—
A few well-coordinated pieces will see
you through a number of situations.
Go through
your closet, keeping only those things
that pass 3 questions:
Do I love
it? Is it flattering? Is
this the image I want to project?

| For a summer basic wardrobe,
use the same concept, but go to medium tones
for shoes and wraps. Some of your garments
may be year round ie: jeans, a blouse or ¾ sleeve
knit top. A coat could be replaced with a
light-weight windbreaker. |
